Well some women think that there is nothing sexier than a wealthy successful man, better still if his wealth is self-made. Never mind if he doesn’t have the looks or the body, just focus on the bank account.

This eligible bachelor is the owner of the Majestic Hotel and Hotel 1929. Hotel 1929 is one of Singapore's hippest haunts and was named Best Budget Hotel by Time Magazine.

Lik Peng has also garnered a whole host of accolades and awards including the prestigious Carl F Buchner Trail Blazer award and the Singapore Tourism Award.

If his hotel is anything to go by, wealth aside, Lik Peng is a man of good taste, fortitude and a lot of imagination. Definitely dream man material!

DIANA: Do you ever worry that you may attract the wrong kind of women?

LIK PENG: Some people have the wrong perception of me, they think that I am awash with money, which I am not, or that I have a certain lifestyle, which I don’t. For me it’s a question of whoever I go out with gets a good grounding on the realities of my life.

I have had propositions, someone once sent a letter to the hotel asking to meet me.

DIANA: Fan mail?

LIK PENG: Something like that, she was pretty expressive.

The truth is I find Lik Peng a lot more interesting off camera than on camera. For some reason he appeared really camera shy during the interview. But I had a wonderful conversation with him off camera.

I don’t think he fits the stereotype of the hip and happening young hotelier. I was expecting a really wild playboy. So out of my 5 Ds, I am going to give Lik Peng 3 Ds.
