China air passenger traffic falls 84.6% in April y/y -regulator

BEIJING : China's aviation regulator said on Thursday that air passenger traffic in April plunged 84.6 per cent from a year earlier to 7.88 million trips, and was only 14.8 per cent of the pre-COVID level in 2019.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China provided the figures at a news conference.
