China to promote consumption recovery as main economic driver -CCTV cites cabinet

BEIJING : China will promote investment expansion and consumption policies to help a recovery in consumption become the main economic driver, state media CCTV quoted a cabinet meeting as saying on Thursday.

Fiscal and financial tools will support key projects and equipment upgrades, according to the State Council meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang.
