China says will study extension of purchase tax exemption for NEVs

BEIJING : China will study policies to extend purchase tax exemption for new energy vehicles (NEVs) as soon as possible, Xin Guobin, vice minister with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said a press conference on Wednesday.
The current policy allows a purchase tax exemption on NEVs until the end of 2023.
