Samsung SDI says tariffs expected to raise production costs of US-made batteries

SEOUL :South Korea's Samsung SDI said on Friday U.S. tariffs will increase the cost of producing its electric vehicle (EV) batteries produced in the United States, as many battery materials and components are imported.
