South Korea jobless rate falls in August to record low

SEOUL : South Korea's unemployment rate fell in August to a record low of 2.4 per cent on a seasonally adjusted basis, from 2.5 per cent in July, official data showed on Wednesday.
It was the lowest since the data series began in June 1999, according to Statistics Korea.
