Daily Cuts - Shorter waiting times at A&E

Among our public hospitals, arguably the busiest emergency department is at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, which sees about 132,000 cases a year. TTSH introduced a model where patients with musculoskeletal issues can see a physiotherapist instead of a doctor – right at the emergency room. Asia First’s Arnold Gay and Andrea Heng speak with Jason Loh, Principal  Physiotherapist at TTSH, who tells us how this saves waiting times for patients that need urgent care.
