Henry is a presenter of News Now, Channel NewsAsia’s hourly news program that tracks developments in the region.
Henry joined Channel NewsAsia in 2015 as a senior business reporter, covering capital and commodity markets, trade relations and Asia’s economic well-being. Henry has interviewed industry chiefs from Microsoft, Walmart, Boeing and Alibaba. He has also spoken with decision makers from international organizations like WTO and ADB.
Prior to Channel NewsAsia, Henry was a news anchor and award-winning reporter at CCTV International in Beijing. News events he covered included China’s National People’s Congress, the World Economic Forum, and the BRICS Summit.
He holds a master’s degree in International Journalism, and a bachelor’s degree in International Economic Law. Fluent in English and Mandarin, Henry can also communicate in Japanese and French.
Henry is an avid book reader. He plays piano and loves jogging in his spare time.
