"Red tourism" - or travel to sites with a revolutionary history - is booming in China, as the country gears up to mark the centenary of its Communist Party on Jul 1. According to online travel booking platform Trip.com, bookings for red tourism products surged 60 per cent year on year during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival earlier this month.
