China's former chief of internet regulator expelled from Communist Party

BEIJING: The former head of China's powerful internet regulator has been expelled from the ruling Communist Party for corruption and will be prosecuted, the party's anti-graft watchdog said on Tuesday.

Lu Wei was put under investigation in November.
