5 happy hour joints where you won’t have to worry about the tabBecause afterwork drinks are much more refreshing with good company
Who doesn’t love a great happy hour deal? For even the most budget-conscious on the team, here are some locations where having a great night out doesn’t require breaking the bank, or burning a hole in your wallet.
1. OSG Bar + Kitchen
Watch Suntec City go from day to night as you guzzle down a beer tower of Asahi and munch on one-for-one Main Courses! While a resident bilingual live band from Wednesday to Saturday adds to the incredible atmosphere, the 120-seater restaurant-bar also has tons of space to fit the entire team comfortably, and comes outfitted with charging facilities and complimentary WIFI (and wireless printing too, if you ever find yourself in such a need). Menu items worth a gander are the Crispy Chilli Crab Spaghetti, Chicken Tikka Pizza, Seoul Truffled SG (traditional wanton noodles with truffle and pan-seared pork belly), and Nan Ru Pork (deep-fried pork cubes with special homemade marinade). There are also amazing one-for-one offers on premium bottles of spirit like Nikka Black whisky and Hendrick’s Gin - These change regularly, so remember to keep an eye out for the ENTERTAINER with HSBC deals available.
2. Praelum Wine Bistro
A sleek modern bistro housed in an old shophouse along Duxton Road, Praelum Wine Bistro has a loyal following of customers who return time and again for their premium yet affordable wine selection, and comprehensive menu of French-inspired nibbles. They have a rotating menu of wines so there’s always something new to try, but when it comes to food, we always end up getting the whole baked brie with roasted garlic, crushed nuts, and cranberry reduction, and the charcuterie with saucisson, coppa, cornichon, mustard and freshly baked baguette. What can we say – don’t fix what ain’t broke.
