Cathay Pacific expects COVID-19 to hit first-half results

HONG KONG: Cathay Pacific Airways on Monday (Feb 17) said it expected a significant drop in its first-half results due to the COVID-19 outbreak, causing it to cut capacity.

The airline said in a statement it had cut capacity by 40 per cent for February and March, and pointed to a likely reduction in April as well.
