PLACES: GARDENS BY THE BAY – URGAN GARDEN OASIS
Singapore’s iconic Gardens by the Bay is a spectacular nature park that brings to life the country’s vision of being a city in a garden. The most awe-inducing part of Gardens by the Bay has got to be its avatar-like futuristic glowing trees in the Supertree Grove. It’s a breathtaking sight to behold at night where a stunning lightshow brings the glittering giant trees to life in a celebration of music and colour.

PEOPLE: SOCIAL ENTERPRISE KANDAMA COLLECTIVE TO #SAVETHEWEAVE
In an effort to #SaveTheWeave, fashion designer Victor Baguilat and his social enterprise Kandama Collective sells modern apparel featuring textiles woven by women from the Tuwali tribe in the mountains of Northern Philippines.
These women artisans are able to weave 8 inches of a detailed fabric in a day’s work, proof of the effort it takes to create the colorful patterns unique to the Tuwali tribe.
