How to negotiate with North Korea on the nuclear issue

After the Trump-Kim summit in Singapore in June 2018, now a second summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong-un is on the cards. Dr Olli Heinonen, former Deputy Director General at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), led the IAEA team into North Korea in 2007 to monitor Pyongyang’s nuclear programme.
