In Nagoro, Japan, creepy life-sized dolls outnumber the living. They are made by one of the town's last remaining 27 residents. 

Nagoro reflects the demographic crisis affecting Japan. With a low birth rate and high life expectancy, Japan’s population is projected to shrink by almost a third by 2065.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has declared a "womenomics" policy and revised immigration law, to bolster the workforce.  But is it too little too late?
