Norwegian band A-ha is coming to Singapore for the first time ever on Mar 21, 2020, at Singapore Turf Club (Kranji) for their Hunting High and Low tour.

It will be the band’s only stop in Southeast Asia.

The tour is named after the trio’s successful debut album in 1985, which spawned their hits Take On Me and The Sun Always Shines On TV. Expect to hear other popular tunes such as Crying In The Rain, The Living Daylights and Stay On These Roads from singer Morten Harket, keyboardist Magne Furuholmen and guitarist Pal Waaktaar-Savoy.

Apart from the headline act, concert-goers can also enjoy a live DJ spinning 80s hits, 80s-themed activities and a beer garden with food and drinks on the festival grounds.

Priority sale for Nets, the official presenter of the Singapore show, will start on Wednesday (Nov 13), while Singtel priority sales will start on Thursday (Nov 14). General sales will start on Nov 15.

Tickets are priced at S$148 for general admission and S$248 for VIP privileges, which include priority entry and a reserved pit area. They are available at Sistic online, through the hotline at 6348 5555 and at authorised agents.

Harket said of the band’s motivation for the tour: “With this tour, we want to share our excitement and nostalgia with our fans around the world and allow us to celebrate that experience together.”

Furuholmen added: “Revisiting this body of work now feels like inspiration rather than obligation.”

A-ha has a series of Australia, New Zealand and Japan dates in February and March next year before heading to Singapore.

The Singapore Turf Club is at 1 Turf Club Avenue, Singapore 738078.
