The infamous Game Of Thrones coffee cup scene: Emilia Clarke reveals culprit
According to the Mother of Dragons, a co-star came up to her and said, "Emilia, I have got to tell you something, love. The coffee cup was mine."

Remember the kerfuffle caused by the coffee cup that was accidentally left on the table during episode four of Game Of Thrones' final season?
Emilia Clarke, who played the Mother of Dragons in the hit series, has finally revealed who was responsible for the gaffe.
She told TV host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Oct 30: “Here’s the truth: We had a party before the Emmys recently and Conleth (Hill), who plays Varys – who’s sitting next to me in that scene – he pulls me aside and he’s like, ‘Emilia, I have got to tell you something, love. The coffee cup was mine.'”
She added: “It was Conleth’s coffee cup! He said so. He said, ‘I think it was, I am sorry, darling. I didn’t want to say anything because it seemed the heat was very much on you.'”
Fallon pointed out that in May, Clarke’s co-star, Sophie Turner, had blamed her for the blooper. Turner also put the blame on Kit Harington a few months later, saying: “First I blamed it on Emilia, but I don’t think Emilia would do that.”
“Kit is lazy and I think he would have done that. It was in front of Kit’s chair and then obviously he moved and this picture was taken and it looked like it was in my seat, but I wasn’t there either. It was Kit. It was a hundred percent Kit.”

Despite that embarrassing blooper, which has been digitally removed from future reruns, and the scores of fans who were unhappy with how the series ended, Game Of Thrones still won Best Drama at the Emmy Awards in late September.
Meanwhile, author George RR Martin, has weighed in on the news that one of the Thrones prequels will be made while the other will be cancelled.
Martin wrote in his blog: “Heartbreaking as it is to work for years on a pilot, to pour your blood and sweat and tears into it, and have it come to nought, it’s not at all uncommon. I’ve been there myself, more than once. I know Jane (Champion, screenwriter) and her team are feeling the disappointment just now, and they have all my sympathy… with my thanks for all their hard work, and my good wishes for whatever they do next.”
He revealed that will probably work on the new series that did get the green light, House Of The Dragon, although he clarified: “I am not taking on any scripts until I have finished and delivered Winds of Winter.”
