There are two Michelin-related stories on this list. The more popular one is all about places most of us can actually afford to go to – the Bib Gourmand category that highlights eateries that offer delicious food for under S$45. This year’s list included 58 of these, of which 33 were hawker stalls, 19 were restaurants and six were street food establishments.

After Singapore lost three Michelin-star establishment Joel Robuchon Restaurant when it closed in 2018, many were wondering which restaurant would step up to the plate. Turned out two did.
