Louis Ng on Developers (Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Bill
(Updated: )MP Louis Ng took issue with specificity in the Developers (Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Bill when he spoke in Parliament on Tuesday (Nov 20). He said the wording of the Bill left quite a lot of room for housing developers to make their own judgement calls - for instance, with words like "appropriate" and "adequate", or requiring developers not to deal with purchasers that have "an obviously fictitious name".
