Ang Hin Kee on Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Bill(Updated: )
MP Ang Hin Kee said freelancers run the risk of not having enough medical provisions. He said the proposed move to start the Contribute-As-You-Earn scheme shows that the Government wants to help freelancers save enough for their medical needs. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Nov 4) during the debate on the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Bill, he urged the Government to rope in all Singaporean workers under its CPF safety net.
