Budget 2021 debate: Tin Pei Ling on empowering seniors in workforce, women in tech

"Ageism is unfortunately rather rooted in Singapore," said MP Tin Pei Ling in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 25), as she urged companies to look at retaining senior workers who are still fit. She also called for even more to be done in digital empowerment for women, such as by introducing more awards and scholarships to encourage females to study technology in school.
