Chan Chun Sing on investigations and follow-up action on Kranji woodland cleared by mistake

JTC is conducting an internal investigation into what went wrong in the clearance works at a site in Kranji, where a forested area was cleared by mistake. It will see if the processes were followed by the public officers and private contractors. NParks is investigating whether there were breaches in the law. Minister-in-charge of the Public Service Chan Chun Sing said this in reply to Parliamentary questions on Friday (Feb 26). He said the pertinent issues will be investigated thoroughly.
