Singapore's reputation as a clean and corruption-free country is hard-won and not taken for granted, said Minister-in-charge of the Public Service Chan Chun Sing in Parliament on Friday (Feb 26), as he responded to questions and suggestions from MPs. He added that the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) is reviewing the Prevention of Corruption Act. With regard to the Public Service's efforts to enhance employability, he reiterated that the Public Service would raise its retirement age to 63 and re-employment age to 68.
