Janil Puthucheary on COVID-19 vaccination protocols
(Updated: )The SNEC staff member who received the wrong dosage of the COVID-19 vaccine remains well, with no adverse reaction or side effects. The vaccination exercise at SNEC was immediately stopped following the incident and subsequent vaccinations for its staff members were continued at SGH. Senior Minister of State for Health Janil Puthucheary gave this update in Parliament on Wednesday (Feb 24) in reply to MPs' questions. He elaborated on the medical protocols in place at all COVID-19 vaccination sites to ensure the safety of vaccinated individuals.
