Ong Ye Kung and Tan See Leng respond to clarifications sought on FTAs, CECA(Updated: )
In Parliament on Tuesday (Jul 6), Health Minister Ong Ye Kung and Manpower Minister Tan See Leng responded to clarifications sought and suggestions made by members of the House after their ministerial statements on free trade agreements and specifically CECA, the FTA with India. The members who spoke were Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh, MPs Patrick Tay and Louis Ng, NCMPs Hazel Poa and Leong Mun Wai from the Progress Singapore Party, and NMPs Hoon Hian Teck and Janet Ang. Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat also rose to respond to a point made by PSP’s Mr Leong.
