Small and medium-sized law firms may need more help to adapt and pivot in a post-COVID world, said Parliamentary Secretary for Health Rahayu Mahzam in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1). Ms Rahayu suggested two areas of support. First, helping firms to adopt technology by providing access to IT consultancy services and grants. Second, helping them to build knowledge in potential growth fields with specialised training and development programmes, as well as exposure to new and developing fields. Ms Rahayu said they might even be able to set up boutique practices in those areas.
