Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 2: Yeo Wan Ling on ACCORD's role in supporting defence

The security of Singapore is contingent not only on the efforts of the Ministry of Defence and Singapore Armed Forces, but also on the unwavering commitment of Singaporeans to defence, said MP Yeo Wan Ling. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1), she highlighted the role of the Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD) in deepening engagements with businesses, educational institutions, family members and community groups to better support national defence. She wanted to know how ACCORD plans to continue to play its role.
