44:31 Min
The Primary 1 registration framework is undergoing a review on whether the number of places set aside for students without priority admission can be increased, said Education Minister Lawrence Wong in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3). In addition, a new curriculum is being rolled out for Character and Citizenship Education, and home-based learning (HBL) will be made a regular feature of the curriculum, starting with two days of HBL per month for secondary schools. The Institutes of Higher Learning are also looking at a more holistic and experiential approach to education, said Mr Wong.
