Cheryl Chan on taking the measure of Singapore's future economy(Updated: )
MP Cheryl Chan spoke in Parliament on Friday (May 18) during the debate on the President's address. She said Singapore's future economy cannot just be measured by GDP growth and employment, but also by societal trends and performance, such as sustainable income and quality of life. The motion was then passed to thank President Halimah Yacob for her address, which she had delivered at the opening of the second session of this Parliament.
