Restoring air connectivity, anchoring key shipping routes through Singapore and enhancing digital capabilities for new markets and opportunities. These are on the radar of the Government's roadmap for Singapore to emerge stronger from the COVID-19 pandemic. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat, who outlined the support measures in a ministerial statement in Parliament on Monday (Oct 5), said they are part of Singapore's reopening plans in the next six months. They aim to help Singapore "gain ground" for the next lap of economic growth in the next five to 10 years, he said.
