Help Singaporeans, especially those with chronic conditions, cope with increasing healthcare costs, said MP Gerald Giam in Parliament on Friday (Sep 4). He suggested allowing MediSave withdrawals for all chronic conditions and removing the annual withdrawal cap for patients with sufficient balances, aged over 60. Mr Giam also called for the use of technology to improve means testing for social assistance, including for persons with disabilities, and urged action to prevent exploitation of migrant workers.
