Debate on President’s Address: Hany Soh on reducing challenges faced by food delivery riders(Updated: )
Offer transitional parking with a 15-minute grace period for food delivery riders and provide designated pick-up points at all commercial malls - these were suggestions from MP Hany Soh who raised the challenges these workers face. In Parliament on Friday (Sep 4), she also asked that taxi operators be allowed to carpool, to maximise vehicle use and hopefully reduce Singapore’s overall carbon footprint. Ms Soh also urged MOE to consider a framework for schools, akin to business excellence certification, as not all parents are persuaded that "every school ... is a good school".
