SINGAPORE: Captain America – together with his flying shield – will make a visit to Singapore in April, as part of the promotion for the latest installment of the Marvel release, Captain America: Civil War.
According to organisers on Monday (Mar 29), the stars of the movie will embark on a world tour, which will see them being split into two teams - Team Cap and Team Iron Man - challenging each other on the international stage.
Team Cap, led by Chris Evans, will be at Marina Bay Sands’ Skating Rink from 6pm on Apr 21, organisers added. The team comprises Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon), as well as director Joe Russo.
The last comic-related event that was held in Singapore was in July 2014, which featured cast members from Guardians of The Galaxy such as Dave Bautista and Zoe Saldana.
Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War opens in Singapore on Apr 28.
