Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 1: Jessica Tan on making Smart Nation progress tangible for all

In Parliament on Friday (Feb 26), Deputy Speaker Jessica Tan asked how Singapore is making its vision of becoming a Smart Nation “real and tangible” for Singaporeans. She noted that the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digitalisation in many aspects of life, but has also revealed the struggles of those who do not have an aversion to technology but have simply not become tech-savvy enough.
