Noise and obstruction of common shared spaces have been common reasons cited by feuding neighbours, said MP Lim Biow Chuan in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1), adding that arguments over trivial issues could escalate and turn ugly. He also said many feuding neighbours refused to go for mediation and had no faith in the Community Disputes Resolution Tribunal to resolve the issue. He asked if the Ministry of Law had assessed the effectiveness of the tribunal in resolving disputes.
