Keeping low-wage workers employed must remain a top priority and the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) will include more workers, Senior Minister of State for Manpower Zaqy Mohamad said in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3). He announced the extension of the PWM to the food services and retail sectors - two sectors with the largest numbers of low-wage workers - and the formation of an "Alliance for Action" targeted at low-wage workers.
