Mediacorp awarded brand licence for Stuff Singapore, Malaysia

Reviews, features, videos, how-tos and other content are expected to reach a wider audience through Mediacorp’s multiple media platforms – online, digital, broadcast and print.

SINGAPORE: Popular tech magazine Stuff will broaden its content coverage and audience reach as publisher Haymarket Media has awarded its brand licence for Singapore and Malaysia to Mediacorp.

Reviews, features, videos, how-tos and other content are expected to reach a wider audience through Mediacorp’s multiple media platforms – online, digital, broadcast and print, Mediacorp said in a news release on Wednesday (Jul 13).

Currently, the site already attracts over three million unique visitors every month globally, with about 300,000 based in Singapore and Malaysia.

“Mediacorp will expand the great connection and longevity that Stuff has already established with readers over 20 years, keeping them up to date with the hottest technology and gadget news and reviews in its characteristically witty and celebratory tone,” said Ms Jessie Sng, head, Men, Women and Parents’ Segments, Mediacorp.

“In licensing the brand, we analysed how Stuff’s audiences – men and women passionate about smarter lifestyle gadgets – engage with its content. We’re confident that Mediacorp platforms will deepen that engagement and help audiences stay ahead of the curve through every tech trend.”

Mediacorp plans to create new marketing solutions on Stuff that generate strong results for clients. This includes creating ways for consumers to experience their brands through live events and bespoke content.

At the same time, advertisers will be able to reach quality audiences on Stuff through Customer360, Mediacorp's audience targeting solution.
