A temporary scheme allowing construction firms to bring in workers from China before their skills are certified has attracted over 200 applications since its launch in May. About 1,300 workers have since been brought in under the scheme, which is aimed at easing the labour crunch. But these numbers are not enough to fill the gap. Isabelle Lim with more.
