SINGAPORE: An 18-year-old teenager, believed to have cheated multiple online victims with the lure of discounted Ultra Music Festival tickets, has been arrested, said police in a news release on Friday (Sep 16).
Police said they received multiple reports between Aug 23 and Sep 5 from victims who were purportedly cheated by a seller who offered discounted tickets online to the music festival. After the victims paid for the tickets, the suspect could not be contacted, they added.
