SINGAPORE: Hello Kitty will be coming to the Republic again, except this time the Sanrio icon is arriving in a different form - as a robot.
From Jun 11, an interactive theme park event, named Robot Kitty, will be held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The main highlights of the event, which will go on for 10 days, are five interactive gaming and photo taking zones.
At the event, each participant will be equipped with a gaming card and a Robot Kitty Gaming Device Figurine. Through the zones, participants will be able to win points, which they can then use to redeem accessories and upgrade their figurine.
This will be the first time the event has come to Southeast Asia, after successful runs in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Shanghai.
Robot Kitty is organised by Mighty Eight, the group who brought carnival Hello Kitty Go Around to Sentosa’s Coliseum in October. Other events starring the Sanrio icon also include a Hello Kitty run in December at The Float@Marina Bay.
