Kota in North-West India is a hub for coaching centres. More than 200,000 teenagers live in cubicle-size rooms and study 15 hours a day. They do this for two to three consecutive years to crack the entrance exam to the top engineering colleges in India. Less than 1% are accepted. When 99% students are destined not get a berth, many never leave their tiny rooms, ending their lives prematurely.
