Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 4: Don Wee on eco-towns' progress

Residents of towns earmarked as eco-towns can expect transformations such as "zero-waste" hawker centres and the ability to track their energy consumption and water usage. In Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 3), MP Don Wee asked for an update on what had been implemented so far and what else would be introduced. He also asked if new waste disposal methods such as pneumatic waste conveyance systems would be introduced in these towns.
