Ageing, corrosion and changing soil conditions pose a threat to Singapore's 5,700km water pipeline system, MP Cheng Li Hui said in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4). She asked how PUB is managing pipe leaks, since most of the water supply network lies underground and leaks can go unnoticed.
