Committee of Supply 2021 debate, Day 5: Louis Ng on emission levels, Zero Waste Masterplan

Rank the top carbon emitters in Singapore since emission rates cannot be released for fear of disclosing confidential business information, MP Louis Ng proposed in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4). He applauded the Extended Producer Responsibility framework that is slated to be implemented in July this year and asked if it was on track. Giving the assurance that the Nee Soon East Zero Waste Masterplan would resume when it could, he asked if the public service sector would take the lead by putting an end to the use of disposables at its events.
