MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin asked about the progress of farms under Singapore’s "30 by 30" plans in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4). She sought assurance that the increase in locally produced food will go first to domestic consumption and asked if those grown for export will count towards the "30 by 30" target. In view of increased demand for food delivery services amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms Nadia also asked if delivery riders will be trained and equipped to better handle food, and whether consumers can rate or review cleanliness and hygiene.
