01:31 Min
Water consumption in Singapore stands at about 430 million gallons a day and this might double by 2060. MP Poh Li San shared this in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 4) and asked about PUB's targets in improving energy efficiency in water treatment, and if there are plans to replicate the floating solar photovoltaic system on Tengeh Reservoir. She also asked if there are plans to build more plants like the Tuas Nexus, where used water and food waste are treated together to produce biogas.
