MPs filed 569 "cuts" or questions for Singapore's Government ministries as they scrutinised their spending plans during the Committee of Supply debate. Leader of the House Indranee Rajah, who said this in Parliament on Monday (Mar 8), stressed that it is important to look at the values which have been upheld in approving Budget 2021. She said the endorsement of the COVID-19 measures reflects Singapore's determination to reopen safely, build resilience, emerge stronger for a post-pandemic world and become a caring and inclusive society.
