An archaeological dig is under way at the front lawn of the Singapore Art Museum, as a team from the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies tries to uncover more about the site. This was where the earliest Roman Catholic chapel in Singapore was located, and researchers also hope to learn more about the pre-colonial Temasek settlement.
