K Shanmugam on court action for flouting 14-day Stay-Home Notice(Updated: )
The authorities will not hesitate to take action against those who flout the 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN). Home Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam said this in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 25). He cited messages which have been circulating about returnees going out to eat local food, hold parties and meet friends while under an SHN. Mr Shanmugam said those who breach the SHN will be charged in court. "I have given very clear instructions," he said. "Where these cases are verified to be true, we will charge in court."
