This former model and dermatologist will do whatever it takes to regain her old life
In 2023, Dr Jessica Ee suffered a stroke during a training session she was conducting for medical students.
The stroke robbed her of her mobility on the left side of her body, affecting her ability to walk and perform basic activities.
Standing at 1.8m, Dr Ee was teased about her height in school, yet she later embraced it and pursued modelling.
She walked down runways dressed in designer clothes and posed for editorial features in magazines.
Dr Ee gave up modelling when she graduated from medical school to focus on her clinical duties, eventually becoming an associate consultant dermatologist at Sengkang General Hospital.
Due to her stroke, Dr Ee is not able to practise medicine yet but continues to work at Sengkang General Hospital doing administrative work.
